Corrections

Accuracy is the whole product at SCV Daily Brief. When we make a mistake, we correct it in the open:

  • The article itself is fixed.
  • A short correction note is added to the article saying what changed and when.
  • We do not silently rewrite published articles to hide errors. (Routine typo fixes and updating a developing story with new official information are not treated as corrections, but material updates are noted on the article.)

To request a correction, contact us with the article link and the correct information, ideally with an official source we can verify. We review every correction request and act on the ones the record supports.
